Ekanger Fantini Arkitekter was founded in Oslo by the two architects MNAL, Robert Ekanger (b.1979) and Niels Ange Fantini (b.1989).

With knowledge in architecture, urbanism and building renovation, Ekanger Fantini Arkitekter has experience in developing and following projects from the first sketch to the finished building, through budgeting, detailed planning and execution, until finished delivery.

We are concerned with creating an architecture that is adapted to the place and the historical culture in which it is located and see the architecture as a way of telling about the place, while at the same time we strive to create a long-lasting and harmonious expression.

The office works competently with architectural monuments as well as new buildings and urban environments where we seek to develop individual and site-specific solutions in each individual case. Space for meetings, living, work, culture and tradition.

Robert and Niels respectively hold a Master’s in Architecture at NTNU in Trondheim (Norway) and at EPFL in Lausanne (Switzerland) as well as a Master’s in Architectural Conservation at the Academy of Architecture in Oslo (AHO), where they meet at school.
